Just thought I’d share how blessed I’ve been in the past few days, that the creator of the universe would scoop down and arrange ways to personally encouraged me through this time of waiting for the next door of opportunity in our lives. Even though doors are flying open for me and my world, Simeon’s job brings the food on the table, so having those doors open too make my little money makers less focused on bread, and more focused on the… well, focus.
Feeling the urge to journal my way through this time of waiting, praying and building my faith muscles, I went to the bookstore, saw a stack of journals on sale and grabbed the one with leopard print. A couple days snuck by and I finally sat down to write…
Without even knowing until I opened up the journal, this is what was printed on every single page on the inside of this journal …
On every left page : “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with tthanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God”. Philippians 4:6
And on every right page: “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.? Philippians 4:19
And did you notice the front cover?! He knows the plans He has for me! He wants me to prosper and give me a future! Oh man! I am just so encouraged right now!
A few hours later, while straightening up, I found a CD with a sermon on it, the sermon title:
“God is Up to Something Big” …
Coincidence? Or was this God supernaturally reminding me that He’s got it all in control. He’s got my back.
