A quick encouragement for you today.
I know for me, one of the greatest battles I deal with on a daily basis is trying to accept myself, embrace my flaws and be content with who God created me to be. Daily, I choose to lay myself down for others and know that going through life walking in God’s awesome Will always turns out the best for me every time. Even when it looks like my life isn’t as grand or exciting as the world’s, I know in my heart that being in His will is what makes life worth living.
I have to choose to resist the temptation to try and please everyone all the time, or search for the satisfaction of being “accepted”, because I know that if I just live my life the way God’s called me to, than no friend, no family member, no boss, no media outlet, no one in my life will have a chance to bring me down, discourage me or tempt me to conform to what the “world” expects of me… Because He takes me As I Am
