Former Alabama golfer, Justin Thomas, won his first major PGA championship on Sunday.
RollTide.com reports on the reaction on the Alabama campus from golf team head coach, Jay Seawell: “It’s pretty emotional for me to be quite honest. The great thing about coaches is to you get a chance to see young people when it’s all about a dream. It’s so fun when those dreams become reality. I am so proud of Justin. He’s a special young man and represents Alabama golf so well – not only with his game but with who he is and how he handles himself. It’s a special day and I am happy for him because I know how big this is for him.”
