Several Parking Lots To Be Closed; Details for Off-Site Parking To Be Announced Thursday UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.; September 7, 2011 – Heavy rain this week combined with predictions of continued rainfall into Friday have led to the closure of several grass parking lots near Penn State’s Beaver Stadium for Saturday’s football game against Alabama. Approximately 2,500 vehicles will be redirected to offsite parking lots; free shuttles will be provided to patrons parking in these areas. Beaver Stadium parking lots that are available will open Saturday at 8 a.m.
