HAWAII at VANDERBILT
The Commodores have a Week 0 game to kick off our 2023 slate of games, and if the goal was to schedule a cupcake from the FBS level in order to get off on the right foot, Vandy appears to have done just that. Hawaii was 3-10 in 2022 with its best win coming probably against Nevada. The Commodores have a lot of question marks, but when do they not? If the offensive line can get a little more serious about moving the ball on the ground, Vanderbilt ought to be fine in this game at least. Hawaii’s once-vaunted offense ranked 103rd in the nation in 2022. Vandy or no Vandy, don’t look for Hawaii to suddenly look like a juggernaut overnight.
