The arrival of spring football is always heralded in the state of Alabama as the start of football’s “third season,” following the actual schedule and the two months when recruiting feels like a competitive endeavor in and of itself.

I wanted to share with you a few quick refreshers, so by the time that TV flips on or you’re at your first tailgate, you will be prepared and confident to jump in ANY convo about the game of football! The guys won’t know what hit them and your “sexy meter” will shoot through the roof! What guy doesn’t love a girl who attempts to learn something new, or enjoy something he enjoys!?
Cyrus Kouandijo walked the sidelines of the BCS Championship Game and could only watch as his team mates fought and won yet another national championship. Though he was walking without a noticeable limp, there was no way the staff was going to let Cyrus risk his health or to be exact, his knee and risk losing him for 2012 as well.

Basketball season presents a quandary for many Alabama fans, to the extent that trying to determine just how things are going is like asking a NASCAR fan to comment on Formula One racing: It’s not an area of expertise. Looking purely from a perspective of results, Anthony Grant’s team went further than did his 2010-2011 team, which improved upon the results of his first season in Tuscaloosa. Still, given the potential of what the 2011-2012 team could have accomplished, its eventual landing spot seems more than just a little disappointing.
